IV. Important notes:
1.106學年度整併105學年度(含)以前「人文學基礎學程」與「社會科學基礎學程」為「人文社會科學學院基礎學程」,修習本學程之課程得採計為105學年度(含)以前「人文學基礎學程」與「社會科學基礎學程」課程。
2.105學年度(含)以前「人文學基礎學程」與「社會科學基礎學程」部分課程移至本院各系專業學程中,惟各主修學系規定必選而停開之課程,其相關抵免依「等同或採計課程認定申請」程序辦理,由各主修學系認定即可。
3.欲取得本院中國語文學系學士班主修之學生,得任意修習本學程表列選修科目課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求,唯「中國文學概論」不予採計。
4.欲取得本院華文文學系學士班主修之學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由華文系開設之科目:「文學概論」、「華文文學作品讀法(一)」、「華文文學作品讀法(二)」,三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。「華文文學作品讀法(一)」、「華文文學作品讀法(二)」等同106-108學年度(含)「人文社會科學學院基礎學程」所列必選「華文文學作品讀法(上)」、「華文文學作品讀法(下)」之科目。「華文文學作品讀法(上)」、「華文文學作品讀法(下)」等同105學年度(含)以前「人文學基礎學程」所列必選「文學作品讀法(上)」(HASS10010)、「文學作品讀法(下)」(HASS10030)之科目。
5.欲取得本院英美語文學系學士班主修之學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由英美系開設之科目:「當代英語與文化(一)」、「西洋文學概論(一)」、「文學作品讀法(一)」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。
6.欲取得本院歷史學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由歷史系開設之科目:「史學導論」、「當代世界」、「近代中國」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。
7.欲取得本院臺灣文化學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由臺灣系開設之科目:「文化研究概論」、「臺灣地理」兩門必修共6學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。「文化研究概論」等同106-108(含)學年度「人文社會科學學院基礎學程」及103-105(含)學年度「人文學基礎學程」所列必選「臺灣文化」之科目。
8.欲取得本院經濟學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由經濟系開設之科目:「經濟學原理個體篇」、「經濟學原理總體篇」、「統計學(一)」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。
9.欲取得本院社會學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由社會系開設之科目:「社會統計(一)」、「社會學」兩門必修共6學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。105-106學年度學年度入學學生之「社會心理學」,以本院所有基礎學程中任選一科目3學分採計。
10.欲取得本院公共行政學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由公行系開設之科目:「政治學」、「公共政策」、「比較政府」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。
11.欲取得本院法律學系之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由法律學系開設之科目:「民法總則」、「國際公法」、「行政法總論一」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。其中「行政法總論一」課程,應先修習法律學系支援通識中心開設之「中華民國憲法」課程。
12.欲取得本院法律學系原住民專班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由法律學系開設之科目:「民法總則」、「國際公法」、「行政法總論一」三門必修共9學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。其中「行政法總論一」課程,應先修習法律學系支援通識中心開設之「中華民國憲法」課程。
13.欲取得本院諮商與臨床心理學系學士班之主修學生,應修習本學程表列選修科目中由諮臨系開設之科目:「心理學概論」、「社會心理學」2門必修6學分之課程,總修習並取得學分數達15學分後,即滿足本學程要求。
14.理工學院開設之「虛擬實境與語言學習」等同本學程「虛擬實境與語言學習」。
15.若欲以他系或外校開設相關科目採計或抵免本學程學分,須向課程開課單位提出申請,並獲同意後始可採計或抵免。
1. Beginning with the 2017 academic year, the "Foundation Program of Humanities" and the "Foundation Program of Social Sciences" offered in the 2016 academic year and earlier have been consolidated into the "Foundation Program of Humanities and Social Sciences". Courses taken under this program may be counted as courses taken in the "Foundation Program of Humanities" or the "Foundation Program of Social Sciences" for the academic year 2016 and earlier.
2. Certain courses previously listed under the "Foundation Program of Humanities" and the "Foundation Program of Social Sciences" for the 2016 academic year and earlier have been incorporated into the professional programs of various departments within the College. However, for those courses that have been discontinued due to their mandatory inclusion in major-specific curricula, the corresponding credit waivers will be processed according to the procedures of the Application for acknowledgement of equivalent or comparable courses, subject to the approval of the respective departments of the students' major.
3. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature may freely select electives listed under this program. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. However, "Introduction to Chinese Literature" does not count toward these credits.
4. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Sinophone Literatures must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Sinophone Literatures: "Introduction to Literature", "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts (I)", and "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts (II)", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts (I)" and "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts (II)" are equivalent to the mandatory courses "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts(I)" and "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts(II)" listed under the "Foundation Program of Humanities and Social Sciences" for the academic years 2017-2019. In addition, "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts(I)" and "Critical Approaches to Sinophone Literary Texts(II)" are equivalent to the required courses "Critical Approaches to Literary Texts, 1st Semester" (HASS10010) and "Critical Approaches to Literary Texts, 2nd Semester" (HASS10030) listed under the "Foundation Program of Humanities" for academic years 2016 and earlier.
5. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of English must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of English: "Reading Contemporary Cultures in English (I)", "Backgrounds of Western Literature (I)", and "Critical Approaches to Literary Texts (I)", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned.
6. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of History must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of History: "Introduction to Historiography", "The Contemporary World", and "The Modern China", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned.
7. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Taiwan and Regional Studies must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Taiwan and Regional Studies: "Introduction to Cultural Studies" and "Taiwanese Geography", for a total of 6 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. "Introduction to Cultural Studies" is equivalent to the mandatory course "Taiwanese Cultures" listed under the "Foundation Program of Humanities and Social Sciences" for the academic years 2017-2019 and the "Foundation Program of Humanities" for the academic years 2014-2016.
8. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Economics must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Economics: "Principle of Economics - Micro Part", "Principle of Economics - Macro Part", and "Statistics (I)", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned.
9. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Sociology must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Sociology: "Elementary Statistics (I)" and "Sociology", for a total of 6 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. For students admitted in the academic years 2015-2016, the course "Social Psychology" may be counted for 3 credits towards the program requirements by selecting any single course from the undergraduate programs offered by the College.
10. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Public Administration must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Public Administration: "Political Science", "Public Policy", and "Comparative Governments", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned.
11. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Law must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Law: "Introduction to Civil", "Public International Law", and "General Theory on Administration Law I", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. The course "General Theory on Administration Law I" requires prior completion of the course "Constitution of The Republic of China" offered by the Department of Law through the General Education Center.
12. Students pursuing an undergraduate major of laws for indigenous students in the Department of Law must complete the electives listed under this program, specifically offered by the Department of Law: "Introduction of Civil", "Public International Law", and "General Theory on Administration Law I", for a total of 9 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned. The course "General Theory on Administration Law I" requires prior completion of the course "Constitution of The Republic of China" offered by the Department of Law through the General Education Center.
13. Students pursuing an undergraduate major in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology must complete the electives listed under this program, which are offered specifically by the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology: "Introduction of Psychology" and "Social Psychology", for a total of 6 required credits. The requirements of this program will be considered fulfilled when a total of 15 credits have been earned.
14. The "Virtual Reality and Language Learning" course offered by the College of Science and Engineering is recognized as equivalent to the "Virtual Reality and Language Learning" course in this program.
15. For credit for relevant courses offered by other departments or external institutions to be accepted or waived under this program, students must apply to and obtain approval from the offering department or institution before such credit can be accepted or waived.
